Our Senior Commercial Financial Analyst will support either our College Station, TX site (highly preferred) or Morrisville, NC site. They will support Project Managers and Financial Management with revenue forecasting, operational change analytics, and audit and controls.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Engages with business partners to understand business processes, performance, highlight risks, opportunities in transparent and consultative manner to foster well informed decisions.
- Maintains monthly actual revenue/forecasting/variance process to provide detailed summary reporting and analysis of results, trends and issues impacting business area and financial reporting. Targets additional areas for continued improvement by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
- Review external client legal contracts for financial impact and soundness; creates and maintains a working knowledge of ongoing contracts as it relates to revenue recognition and invoicing, including implementation of contractual inflationary clauses.
- Understands site costing in relation to contract reviews for revenue recognition and customer program profitability.
- Assist in creation of audit and internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and best practices. Follows controls and supports internal and external audits as needed.
- Set up/maintain client projects (SAP and/or Excel).
- Perform finance reconciliations of client projects versus internal accounting systems.
- Review and draft of Inter-company sales agreements.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
- Finance lead for specific business objectives, as required.
- Special ad-hoc projects as requested or assigned.
- Adhere to safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience; OR
- Associate’s Degree and 8+years of experience; OR
- High School Diploma and twelve 10+ year’s experience required.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or closely related degree preferred.
- Experience with IFRS and GAAP Revenue Recognition principles and an understanding of basic accounting rules and concepts (focus on ASC 606).
- Strong analytical and organization capabilities with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience with SAP S4/Hana and Keyed-In highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service, presentation, team interaction and communication skills (written and verbal) across functional and inter-company boundaries.
- Able to challenge and influence critical business decisions while developing and maintaining relationships with diverse internal and external business customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Willingness to learn new skills and ability to learn via OJT versus formal training.
- Prior experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analytics highly preferred.
- Ability to be proactive, multi-task and prioritize work assignments with limited supervision.
- Good understanding of program management and biologics drug development market/business preferred.
- CPA Preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio).
