We are seeking a dedicated Okta Systems Administrator to manage and configure critical Okta integrations while ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the Okta platform daily.
Position Summary
- Audit and maintain Okta errors, tasks, and overall health to optimize dashboard efficiency.
- Support and maintain all environments and platforms related to Okta and its integrations.
- Collaborate with the lead Okta administrator to achieve team and organizational objectives.
- Address Okta support requests through channels such as Slack, Google Chat, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Document and update tenant configurations, ensuring SCIM synchronizations are maintained.
- Assist in the implementation and management of security policies, alerts, reports, and audits.
- Oversee data governance practices, including classification, discovery, and protection.
- Monitor and resolve incidents related to service health and usage.
- Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and best practices for Okta and SSO.
- Adhere to established corporate practices, policies, and internal controls to create value and mitigate risk.
Minimum Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Okta environment.
- Proficient in configuring and administering enterprise technologies, including Okta, Google, and Active Directory.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of integrating multiple applications with Okta (SAML and OIDC).
- Familiarity with the administrative dashboard in Google Workspace.
- Strong skills in incident management and prioritization.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and Okta Professional Certification.
