We are currently seeking a Field Technician which requires the knowledge of flow monitoring equipment, sampling equipment, installation procedures, maintenance procedures, safety procedures, and confined space procedures. A flow monitoring crew member is required to insure that all flow monitoring is properly performed, insure accurate data collection, and perform the work in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in the flow monitoring field is desirable.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
- Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. periodically.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures for confined space entry preferred.
- Map reading capability necessary.
