Position Summary
Design and Engineering: Innovate and enhance treatment systems by leveraging cutting-edge membrane technologies, ion exchange, and other applicable methods. Generate detailed engineering documents such as design specifications, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control narratives, datasheets, and comprehensive plans for commissioning, performance testing, and operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Project Management: Develop initial design documents and project budget estimates to facilitate technical and commercial proposals. Manage water and wastewater treatment projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in treatment process designs through performance data analysis, trial execution, and the implementation of enhancements in both operational facilities and future designs to achieve maximum efficiency and cost savings.
Client Engagement: Partner with clients to fully understand their unique needs, offering expert technical advice and tailored solutions to address their water and wastewater treatment challenges. Actively participate in client meetings, including bid discussions, design evaluations, and safety and quality assessments (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA).
Documentation and Reporting: Develop comprehensive engineering reports and documentation, alongside presentations that clearly communicate project status, insights, and recommendations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all water and wastewater treatment systems meet relevant regulations, industry standards, and permitting requirements.
Collaboration: Work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams, utilizing strong communication and teamwork skills.
