Supply Chain Coordinator
The Carrom Company is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the company's supply chain. This role coordinates with suppliers, manufacturers, our warehouse, and transportation providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.

New owners recently purchased the assets of The Carrom Company and are in the process of relaunching the business with the aim of creating a global leader in traditional tabletop games. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and optimize supply chain operations
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate pricing and order quantities, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and components
- Find new suppliers as necessary and analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overstock situations, and take corrective actions
- Inventory planning – Initiate purchase orders and assembles via Quickbooks Desktop
- Oversee the transfer of inventory from one facility to another
- Communicate with partners and our internal assembly team regarding the inventory forecast
- Develop a plan to keep an optimized level of inventory at Amazon based on sales forecasts, shipment timing, and inventory / storage costs
- Organize shipments to Amazon; work with freight vendors to optimize shipping costs, organize labels and work w/ warehouse staff to palletize, label, and ship product to Amazon.
- Shopify fulfillment – ensure orders through Shopify are being properly fulfilled.
- Specialty channel fulfillment – organize the production and shipment of specialty orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside partners as it relates to establishing a presence and subsequent inventory on additional marketplaces (i.e. Walmart, Target, etc.)
- Utilize Quickbooks Desktop/Enterprise as the source of truth pertaining to inventory levels and inventory planning
- Resolve supply chain issues and escalate concerns to management as needed
- Coordinate with logistics providers and storage providers as necessary
- Support the organization as it relates to new product development by sourcing suppliers, working with existing suppliers and required compliance testing
- Quarterly inventory count oversight via in our Stevensville, MI manufacturing/assembly center
- Travel otherwise as necessary to Stevensville, MI to support the team and address any challenges/obstacles
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and procurement best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment
- Experience with Quickbooks Desktop/Enterprise
- Preference for prior experience at a consumer brand selling via multiple retail channels (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Target, specialty retail etc.)

- Located in West Michigan and willing to work 4 days a week from The Carrom Company corporate office in Grand Rapids
