Renowned for their expertise in uncovering critical insights across various fields, they specialize in metallurgy, materials testing, chemical analysis, non-destructive testing, calibrations, and investigating the causes of fires and explosions.
They are currently looking for Calibration Technicians to join their team, specializing in the calibration and repair of both electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment. If you have a strong background in calibration, technical troubleshooting, and working with a range of precision tools, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and repair a variety of electronic test equipment, including AC/DC low voltage devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, and voltage calibrators.
- Work with RF/MW frequency measuring and generating devices, including spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, and RF counters.
- Calibrate temperature and humidity devices, such as thermometers, data loggers, environmental chambers, and ovens.
- Maintain and calibrate mechanical test and measurement equipment, including torque wrenches, calipers, scales, pressure gauges, and controllers.
- Interpret and follow detailed calibration and repair procedures and electrical schematics.
- Perform measurements with a focus on accuracy and calculate measurement uncertainty in compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in calibrating and repairing electronic and mechanical test equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of AC/DC low voltage, RF/MW frequency devices, temperature and humidity measurement tools, and generating test equipment.
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience in following written calibration and repair procedures.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems and measurement uncertainty.
- Commercial or military PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) or TMDE (Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment) experience is highly preferred.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification is a must.
