Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Network Security Manager is to support both the LGP and Terminal B operating security infrastructure. The Network Security Manager will provide leadership and guidance for the support of firewalls, DNS, VPN, and security auditing, and other network security-based systems. They will oversee and process firewall requests and other requests from LGP and Terminal B. The Network Security Manager will also provide guidance and leadership for LGP staff for security systems, projects, and processes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, and continuously monitor all network-related systems to ensure consistent system availability across the organization.
- Monitor and maintain system performance in all servers ensuring security through access controls, backups, network equipment, and troubleshooting network issues and outages.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate network and server-related issues promptly Install and configure software, hardware, and technologies tools and upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Provide IT onsite and remote support for corporate environment - maintaining hardware, software inventories.
- Manage various Windows and Linux Servers performing regular updates and
- Manage ongoing internal and technical vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met and system updates are effectively managed.
- Configure and deploy intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
- Maintain firewalls, switches, access points, and VPNs.
- Assist in identifying, monitoring, and defining network security requirements.
- Triage alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to service requests related to LGP systems to ensure data security and confidentiality.
- Manage inventory and logistics of dedicated internet circuits, including planning, procurement, and vendor management.
- Administration of Microsoft Exchange 365
- Manage inventory of all IT equipment (i.e. work phones, laptops, headphones, etc.)
- Contributing to cyber security investigative efforts, data collection, and analysis as needed
- Supporting the team’s effort to educate our employees, contractors, and partners on the importance of being vigilant in their work and home security practices.
- Crafting detection and detection methodologies that identify and prevent unsanctioned communication of company information or data.
- Reviewing alerts, escalating reports, conducting analysis, and making recommendations to improve processes.
- Analyze data to measure security program effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cyber security.
- Research IT issues, identifies potential policy conflicts, prepares/presents summary reports, and identifies IT opportunities throughout the organization.
- Monitors overall network performance and analyzes and implements process models to enable operational impact and efficiencies for network optimization.
- Plan and implement specified network security operating system and networking security software.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure implementations meet goals.
- Identify, collect, and optimize IT metrics.
- Lead and assist software implementation projects.
- Vendor management (Logipix, MKJ)

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree 5 years’ experience or 10 years’ experience without a degree.
- Four to five years of relevant technology experience in related technical environment (Cisco networking, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory)
- Strong managerial experience and effectiveness
- Experience with Cisco technologies – firewalls, routers, UCS, and switches
- Proven experience in planning, organizing, and developing IT security and facility security system technologies.
- Experience in planning and executing security policies and standards development.
- Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including information security, building security, and defense solutions.
