We have an exciting opportunity for a Satellite Payload Communication Systems Engineer to play a crucial role in managing and optimizing satellite payload communication systems.
Key Skills & Experience Required by the Satellite Payload Communication Systems Engineer:
- Vast experience and knowledge in satellite communication systems, radio frequency engineering, and signal processing.
- Experience and knowledge with payload communication protocols, data links, and modulation schemes.
- An understanding of satellite communication standards such as CCSDS.
- Strong understanding of antenna systems, frequency bands, and propagation models.
- Experience and expertise in software-defined radios (SDR) and networking protocols.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- US Citizenship.
This opportunity is an on-site position, based in Boulder, Colorado.
