Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field.
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies for internal employees and external customers.
- Expertise in instructional design methodologies and learning frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), along with proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools (e.g., Litmos, Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- A proven track record of managing teams and leading learning initiatives within a corporate setting, preferably in the healthcare or technology sector, with a strong focus on Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
Plusses:
- SaaS industry experience or IT/ healthcare
- Candidates may possess certifications such as the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD), or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Client Services, this leader will oversee a team responsible for both internal employee training and customer-facing learning strategies, ensuring that employees and customers have clear, structured opportunities to enhance their knowledge, retain critical skills, and achieve success. As the Learning and Development Manager, you will be tasked with designing the learning team structure, recruiting high-quality talent, and implementing comprehensive learning strategies. Additionally, you will spearhead and facilitate the creation of an industry-leading, self-service customer learning platform, empowering users to maximize the value of comapny's products. The Learning and Development Manager must possess a strong passion for learning, a proven track record of success and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement for both employees and customers.
Job Duties
- Oversee a team of Instructional Designers and Learning Delivery Specialists, ensuring they create and deliver high-quality learning experiences that enhance internal employee training and customer learning.
- Develop, propose, and execute comprehensive learning strategies for employees and customers, aligning with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Create and implement user-friendly learning tracks for employees that align with business needs, promote skill development and career growth, and enhance knowledge retention.
- Lead the development of a self-service learning platform for customers, including knowledge articles, videos, online tutorials, guides and workflows, to enhance user success and overall satisfaction.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring and incorporating innovative learning technologies, such as AI and emerging tools, to enhance learning experiences and streamline content delivery.
- Establish and maintain high standards for all learning materials, ensuring they are aligned with company branding and effectively meet the needs of both employees and customers.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure learning programs meet internal and external needs.
- Implement ongoing strategies to monitor and enhance the accuracy, quality, and speed of learning content creation, ensuring the team delivers engaging and up-to-date resources.
