This position is in the Client Service Group of an established New York-based registered investment advisor focused on high-net-worth clients. Our investment products include allocations to hedge, real estate, and private equity funds, as well as investments with equity and fixed income managers through separately managed accounts.
The position interacts extensively with our Technology and Client Advisors teams in an environment where efficiency and accuracy are critical. Accordingly, strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are required.
Responsibilities:
· The successful hire is expected to spend a significant amount of their first six months supporting a technology implementation project across Client Services, Fund Finance, and Research.
· After the project’s completion, the successful hire will be part of the day-to-day Client Services team, supporting the Client Advisors as needed and focused on
o The month end closing process.
o Assisting with the production and distribution of recurring client communications and deliverables (including capital calls, distribution notices, investment confirmations, etc.).
o Maintenance of on-going client portfolio system reconciliations.

Experience:
· Undergraduate degree required; finance, economics, or accounting concentration preferred.
· 1 to 3 years working experience in a similar or related position.
· Experience with the alternative investment assets class (hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, fund of fund structures) a plus.
· High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word) required.
· Working knowledge of Addepar, Canoe, FactSet, and any CRM system a plus.
