What We’re Looking For:
- RNs, LPNs, LVNs, Medical Assistants, Lab Technicians, Paramedics, EMTs
- Certification in specimen collection or phlebotomy is a plus
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to handle client information with discretion and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Experience with biohazard disposal and universal precautions
- Strong attention to detail, compassion, and a passion for helping others
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
- Training will be provided
Responsibilities:
- Collect DNA specimens (typically via buccal swabs and blood draws) for paternity, immigration, and prenatal paternity testing
- Ensure proper chain of custody and accurate documentation of specimens
- Follow safety protocols, including universal precautions and biohazard disposal
- Travel to client locations and provide excellent customer service with a compassionate approach
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in DNA specimen collection, phlebotomy, or related field
- Familiarity with handling medical information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Certification in specimen collection is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit to meet client appointment goals
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
