This is a Neurology Biotech who are innovative, patient focused, and employee friendly with a robust pipeline looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Biostatistics to join their innovative and dynamic team.
As the Director, you will play a critical role in advancing our cutting-edge therapies for the treatment of neurological disorders. This position will be responsible for leading the statistical strategy and execution of clinical trials, as well as providing key insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compound Lead across clinical trials whilst managing CRO's and Vendors
- Design, analyze, and interpret complex clinical data using advanced statistical methods and techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to develop optimal study designs and protocols
- Prepare statistical analysis plans, data management plans, and other study-related documents
- Communicate statistical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory authorities, and external partners
- Mentor a team of biostatisticians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay current on industry developments, trends, and regulations related to statistical methodologies and techniques
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field with 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (CRO experience doesn’t qualify)
- Open to Therapeutic Area
- Experience in clinical trial design, analysis, and interpretation
- Proven track record of successful interactions with regulatory agencies
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex statistical concepts and results to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines
