Project Manager
Scott Humphrey has partnered with a subcontractor in the Glass and Glazing space looking for a Project Manager to oversee glass and glazing projects from inception to completion. T
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of glass and glazing projects, including initial planning, procurement, installation, and closeout. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, setting expectations, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and fabrication teams to coordinate the delivery and installation of materials, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Monitor project budgets, including materials, labor, and overhead costs. Track financial performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery. Anticipate and address potential delays or conflicts, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications, performing regular site visits to verify the quality of workmanship. Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Identify potential issues or challenges related to design, installation, or client needs and proactively resolve them to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the glass and glazing industry or a related construction field.
- In-depth understanding of glass and glazing materials, fabrication, installation techniques, and related building systems.
- Ability to quickly assess situations, make decisions, and adapt to changing project needs
- High level of accuracy in project documentation, budgeting, and schedule management.
