Our client is a fast growing consumer goods company at the intersection of entertainment in need of a Strategic Finance Manager. This role will work directly with the CFO and have the opportunity to grow into the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have completed a year or two at an investment bank or a transaction services team and then moved into a finance role. This position is going to be 2 days a week in office and the rest hybrid. Company will help with relocation.
Job Duties:
- Help identified strategic new acquisitions, markets, and funding for the company.
- Model out ad-hoc request for vc's, C-suite, and executive board members.
- Own, develop, execute, and improve planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.
- Develop financial, operational, and performance metrics for the company.
- Analysis of financials, company used models, and special reporting.
- Build and improve forecast models, variance models, and KPI’s.
- Automate processes and improve existing processes to streamline efficiency.
- Analyze and manipulate data for custom reporting processes.
- Provide analysis and insight for revenue generating and cost saving opportunity throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or Economics required
- Big 4 or public accounting experience is a huge plus
- Minimum 5+ years of corporate finance, investment banking, FP&A or valuations
- Excellent Excel skills and NetSuite is a plus
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
