Role: Senior Infrastructure Architect
Duration: asap - 3/31/25, potential for extension
Time: 30-40 hours a week
Location: Bloomington, MN- 1-2 days a week (Tuesday or Wednesday) onsite
Required Skills:
· Minimum 10 years of experience with Information Security teams or similar.
· Minimum 10 years of experience with Network and Firewall technologies (i.e. Cisco, Palo Alto). A strong foundation of firewall design, deployment and operation is required.
· Minimum 5 years of experience with access management technologies. (i.e. Active Directory, Entra ID)
· Minimum 5 years of experience with information security compliance (i.e. Payment Card Industry, GDPR)
· Minimum 5 years of experience with server virtualization or cloud hosting technologies (i.e. VMWare, AWS)
· Organizational skills to proactively track findings for remediation actions, issue updates and status reports.
· Excellent communication and reporting skills
Desired Skills:
· Experience working with Operational Technologies in addition to Information Technologies
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
· A strong background in general networking and router/switch is helpful and preferred.
Work Deliverables:
· Network infrastructure and Active Directory redesign for operationally critical systems
· Firewall and system security zoning redesign and architecture
· Ensure security architecture and operational processes facilitate compliance with various regulatory bodies
· Provide technical leadership to various technical teams within IT Infrastructure (Cybersecurity, Network, Server, Storage, Cloud) on implementation of design and architecture
Responsibilities:
· Conducting in-depth network security design review and implementation as it relates to network zones and firewall technologies.
· Conducting In-depth access management design review and implementation to ensure compliance requirements are met and operational efficiencies are realized.
· Complete compliance gap analysis reporting, remediation, and resolution strategy.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and suggesting reasonable solutions and strategies.
· Ensure architecture and engineering solutions support future auditability and compliance requirements.
· Review documentation of supported systems to ensure it is up to date and accurate, creating any missing documentation, as necessary.
· Other duties as assigned.
