An international manufacturing organization is looking for a Senior EHS Manager at one of its largest manufacturing facilities in the U.S. The incumbent will be instrumental in safeguarding the safety of their employees throughout the large manufacturing facility with the help of onsite direct reports and the corporate EHS team. The team is looking for a proactive and strategic approach to improve the conditions at the site.
The Role:
- Lead the team in developing and implementing new safety initiatives, procedures, and training.
- Conduct audits and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Influence Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Management to drive Safety performance.
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement in the EHS program.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Science/Engineering.
- 5+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
- Demonstrated experience managing a large single-site manufacturing facility with over 700 employees.
