An industry leading high frequency trading fund is seeking a highly skilled low latency network engineer. The networks team designs, builds and maintains all the communications infrastructure that allows their high-capacity, low-latency trading and data research environments to run 24/7.
We're seeking deep technical skills, you'll be responsible for everything from product selection and design to routing, configuration and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage and monitor low-latency trading network
- Design and manage large environments to fulfil the high-performance and availability requirements
- Design and support their network systems and infrastructure
- Configure and operate routers and switches
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in low latency network engineering
- CCIE
- Familiarity with Python, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Github
- Layer 2 & 3 network protocols and best practices, working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP
- Low-latency microwave networks and/or optical transmission systems
