Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, FortiNet security solutions, and Microsoft Azure. This role is critical to ensuring the security, availability, and performance of their IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a proactive approach to system management, and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration with significant experience in Microsoft 365, FortiNet, and Microsoft Azure.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing enterprise-level IT environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and advanced configuration options.
- Deep understanding of FortiNet security products and network security best practices.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing Azure environments, with experience in automation and cost management.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation and system management.
- Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Fortinet NSE 5+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
