Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Design Director and cross-functional teams to develop and implement design and graphic
design strategies for prints and packaging
- Ability to design and create artwork for soft accessories, and stationery
- Provide feedback to the team to support project development and design evolution.
- Manage time efficiently to consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Create packaging and display materials ready for press.
- Work closely with the team designing packaging to ensure the integrity of the design during the packaging
development process.
- Coordinate with other departments on packaging requirements and deadlines.
- Stay updated with current design trends and bring in new sources of creative inspiration.
- Enhance the creative and technical skills of yourself and the team.
- Obtain necessary approvals and relaying feedback to the graphics and design team.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in graphic and packaging design.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in accessories categories is a plus.
- Strong sense of design, typography, and color.
- Highly motivated and passionate about beauty, and fashion, with an eye for detail in product commercialization.
- Self-starter, passionate, and results-oriented.
- Experience working with licensed brands and interpreting brand style guides for product extensions.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite, 2D,3D and Microsoft Office.
- Strong creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization, and design skills.
- Experience in creating "ready for print" mechanicals.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and strategize team workloads according to the seasonal calendar.
- Flexible and creative problem solver, able to adapt quickly.
- PLM experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with soft accessories, baby footwear, and stationery.
