Role Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Technical Services and Pattern, the Associate Technical Designer will provide vital support to the Tech Team.
Responsibilities:
Remain current on deadlines, lead team tracking, and follow up on fit samples. Send the required number of technical packages and fit comments in a timely manner to support on-time production.
Assist and collaborate on developing 1st through production tech packs (including measurements, technical trim, construction, and folding sketches).
Work with design on BOM completion and updates
Apply established grade rules to approved styles.
Collaborate with designer, supervisor, and cross-functional partners to ensure the desired product is achieved while remaining production timelines.
Measure fit samples in preparation for fitting (as needed)
Daily communication with factories regarding fit, construction, pattern development, BOM, and QA issues.
