A successful candidate should possess a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to be successful in this role, the candidate should be a strong collaborator, have attention to detail, problem solving skills, and stakeholder management. This candidate should have a strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and the ability to work closely with data engineers to oversee the development of data solutions preferably in AWS cloud infrastructure.
This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business to solicit and document reporting / analytical requirement specifications and write design documents including process flows to support A-MAX operational needs.
- Help users understand our data eco-system and bring more data awareness within business and IT.
- Hands-on experience with Data Science / AI solutions, SQL, data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and PySpark.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing data sets and analyze data to improve Data Quality.
- Help users understand our data eco-system and bring more data awareness within the business and IT.
- Build dashboards using data querying tools for internal analytic reviews (Tableau or similar).
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, science and engineering, or other similar quantitative disciplines.
- Proven working experience of 3 to 5 years as a technical Data Product Owner.
- Messaging, and processing tools (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Redis), and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Proven experience enabling ML Ops and deploying Data Science solutions.
- Proficiency in managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira is essential.
- AWS certification is preferable.
