Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Work Hours: Standard hours 8 AM to 5 PM, occasional early shifts starting as early as 5 AM, based on seasonal demand, occasional Saturday shifts may be required during peak seasons

Compensation: Salaried position, starting base $50k-$60k depending on experience, annual bonus worth up to 15% of salary based on performance goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among all employees.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with regular stock audits to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate the flow of materials and products, optimizing storage space and minimizing delays.
- Help implement and maintain efficient processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in preparing reports related to warehouse activities, including productivity, inventory levels, and staff performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in warehouse settings.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, non-CDL trucks) as needed.
