Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bids, and proposals for luxury hotel projects, high-end condominiums, and intricate interior renovations.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to identify project scope and potential cost impacts.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain a database of historical data for pricing, labor costs, and materials.
- Review and assess subcontractor bids and quotes, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Assist in value engineering and provide recommendations for cost-saving alternatives.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings, project hand-offs, and client presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on hotel projects, condominiums, or high-end interiors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
