IT Systems Analyst II
We are currently seeking a highly motivated IT Systems, Database Development and Support Analyst for our IT Commercial Gas Systems Team to provide first class customer service and technical support to our Natural Gas Accounting users.
This position is part of a larger team in which the candidate would be interacting with daily and participate in all relevant SOX change management activities and is responsible for overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The IT Systems Analyst will work effectively with a team; maintain ownership for specific system function(s) and/or set of business users, facilitate communications between the business. Candidate will assume some routine administrative tasks and will periodically be expected to make independent decisions.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, enhance, and support Gas System Application modules such as TIPS Accounting and gathering, BOBJ reporting, Oracle Database Objects, Data Archiving, and Interfaces to other upstream and downstream systems.
- Design, develop, enhance, and support PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Indexes.
- Participate in project design, development, test and implementation activities with IT and Business users.
- Support for IT and User testing and deployment of Vendor Builds and Patches.
- Work directly with end users and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested.
The prospective candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- Attained an education from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science or CIS/MIS.
- Has strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Is a highly self-motivated team player.
- Possesses a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Has 5+ years of experience database development and analysis (SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL) Required.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mid-level Role / Years of Experience Max: 10yrs
Strong database development skills are required.
