We are seeking a versatile Data Analyst/Engineer to join our team and drive our data analytics and performance tracking. In this role, you will collaborate with our marketing team to oversee all data projects and requests across the organization. You’ll play a key role in developing insights, optimizing marketing strategies, and improving business performance through data.
Responsibilities:
Marketing/Product/Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the company.
- Analyze the return on investment (ROI) for advertising and media spend.
- Integrate existing data systems to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns.
- Ensure contact lists are up-to-date and clean for accurate targeting.
- Analyze data from multiple departments to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop systems to track metrics and success of digital content across various platforms.
- Drive campaign performance management, providing data-driven insights to the management team.
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports to support the execution and measurement of marketing activities.
Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processes for analytics and reporting.
- Build and optimize the architecture of the data warehouse to support business intelligence.
- Develop algorithms that turn raw data into actionable insights.
- Automate data processes to increase efficiency and minimize errors.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand and fulfill data needs.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data science and business intelligence involving large, complex data sets.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Excel, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, and social media analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with database analytics and data-driven marketing, with a solid understanding of marketing automation concepts.
- Familiar with social media APIs and their integration with centralized systems.
- 3+ years of experience in technical email marketing, managing large contact lists (1M+).
- Strong expertise in consumer segmentation and A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience with tools like Segment or other CDP platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
