Role Description

Responsibilities:
- PCB Schematic capture and layout for our clients and in-house projects
- Design of manufacturing test fixtures and firmware
- BOM management, sourcing of parts from suppliers
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 1 year industry experience or robust portfolio of extracurricular work
- Experience with PCB design and manufacturing using tools such as Altium, KiCAD, EAGLE, OrCAD
- Experience with firmware development (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively to colleagues
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
Ideal candidate traits
- Has developed and built a PCB working with manufacturers
- Comfortable using Linux
- Hands-on and loves to work with physical devices
This is a hybrid position, requiring in-person presence at our office in Oakland, CA. May require occasional travel to client locations, conferences, etc.
