Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP is seeking an Office Coordinator for the firm’s New York office. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused, understand a professional services environment, have experience planning special events, and help to maintain a highly professional work environment. This is a highly visible role and will interact regularly with attorneys, clients, and business professionals.
Required duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance and back-up support to Office Services including ingoing/outgoing mail, duplicating and imaging, file/records maintenance, supply ordering and stocking;
- Planning and coordinating office social and special events, including frequent AV set-ups, catering/hospitality;
- Coordination of office operations, including new employee set-ups, visitor office space, and consistent interaction with various administrative departments to ensure continuity of service;
- Assist with facilities-related matters, including office security, visitor access, maintenance issues, HVAC requests, etc. Requires frequent interaction with on-site landlord representatives;
- Greet all visitors, maintain security and visitor logs, maintain and open/close reception area;
- Answer main phone line and transfer calls as necessary;
- Offer back-up support to legal administrative assistants.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience in a professional office setting;
- Event planning experience a plus;
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
- Competency in Outlook, Microsoft and other Office applications;
The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience.
