IT Business Analyst (Healthcare)
We have an immediate need for an IT Business Analyst (Healthcare) to join a healthcare company for a direct hire position. The Business Analyst translates business and system needs into requirements for Designers, developers, and Testers to consume and uses requirements, analysis, specification verification techniques for the purpose.
Location: Hybrid, 2 days onsite in Phoenix, AZ
This job expects to pay about $60,000-75,000 plus benefits
What You Will Do:
- Plays a vital role in determining the scope and requirements of each IT project. In this aspect of the role, the IT business analyst works with both the IT department and business leaders to prepare reports that outline the project specifications, requirements and scope and ensure that they align with the overall project goals.
- Develops and utilizes standard templates to write requirements and specifications accurately and concisely. Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
- Plays an active role in system and project testing procedures. Oversee periodic system testing to ensure that it continually meets functional requirements, oversee usability and user acceptance testing throughout the organization both before and after deployment, and gather user data to make recommendations to improve functionality or reliability.
- Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team. Creates technical and project documentation, including user guides.
- Assist in the development and assists in peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Determines and designs end user training and curriculum for applications and systems. Facilitates the initial rollout and ongoing training of the user community.
What Gets You The Job:
- Experience and proficiency with knowledgebase, defect tracking, and requirements related software systems (such as ServiceNow)
- Three (3) years’ experience in SDLC methodologies, (such as Agile, Lean or Six Sigma)
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification and methodology development
- Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Education, or Information Systems ; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
