About the Role
Deliver expert desktop support to traders and other end-users, resolving issues swiftly to ensure operational continuity. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. Configure, maintain, and deploy Windows and Mac OS systems. Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate processes, enhance efficiency, and resolve recurring issues. Collaborate with network and systems engineering teams to optimize IT infrastructure. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and processes for knowledge sharing. Support virtual desktops (VDI) and remote access solutions for optimal connectivity. Assist in managing office technology, including phone systems, video conferencing, and trading floor equipment.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in desktop support within a financial services environment – financial services experience is essential. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting. Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange. Experience with remote desktop tools and VDI solutions. Basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware setup. Excellent communication skills and a steady, effective approach under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a trading floor environment.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
Pay range and compensation package
Up to $80/hr
