Overview:
The bilingual architect will be responsible for the creation and development of site plans, renderings, and managing the submission of plans to relevant municipal authorities. This role requires bilingual skills to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish, ensuring that projects comply with local regulations and the company's design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Plan Development: Create detailed and accurate site plans that reflect project feasibility and meet zoning and building regulations.
- Renderings and Visualizations: Produce high-quality 2D and 3D renderings to visually present projects to clients and stakeholders.
- Plan Submissions: Prepare and submit construction plans to cities, including managing processes and documentation for obtaining permits and approvals in both English and Spanish.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including operations and sales, to ensure designs align with client needs and project timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local building codes and regulations, ensuring that all submitted plans and documents comply with current laws.
- Review and Revision: Review and adjust plans and designs based on municipal feedback, making necessary modifications efficiently.
- Bilingual Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients and authorities, providing information in both languages as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish), both spoken and written.
- Proven experience in creating site plans, renderings, and submitting plans.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish, with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with city officials and other stakeholders in both languages.
