Our company is seeking a talented Director of Marketing to join our team and lead our strategic marketing initiatives, both in B2B and B2C, to drive customer acquisition and engagement. The Director of Marketing will own, develop, and lead the omni-channel marketing strategy, ensuring brand alignment and optimized reach across all platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced “full-stack” marketer with a solid foundation in SEO, a deep understanding of consumer brands, and a strong background in managing two-sided marketplaces. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights to shape and execute a marketing strategy that enhances customer experience, drives growth, and achieves business goals

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an end-to-end marketing strategy across B2B and B2C markets, aligning with business objectives and growth goals.
- Omni-Channel Marketing Ownership: Oversee omni-channel marketing efforts, including content marketing, digital advertising, SEO, PR, partnerships, and events, ensuring alignment across channels.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Lead the growth marketing strategy to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Develop and optimize multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, influencer, events, and traditional marketing channels. Optimize channel performance and activations to maximize brand visibility, traffic, and conversion.
- Paid Media and Performance Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive paid media strategy that aligns with business goals and targets. Optimize paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Maps, SEM, Meta, Nextdoor, FB/Tiktok, App Store) to effectively reach target audiences and achieve target key performance indicators (KPIs). Utilize data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization to maximize ROI across all marketing channels.
- SEO Expertise: Drive the company’s SEO strategy to enhance organic reach and improve site visibility. Lead technical and on-page SEO initiatives, staying ahead of best practices to optimize content, increase rankings, and traffic. Including mobile SEO and maintenance of brand presence on app store(s).
- Brand & Content Strategy: Build and elevate the brand narrative, crafting messaging that resonates across different segments and platforms.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage analytics and insights to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize strategies, and report on KPIs. Ensure the marketing strategy is guided by a solid understanding of customer behaviors and market trends.
- Two-Sided Marketplace Expertise: Develop targeted marketing strategies for our two-sided marketplace, ensuring value and engagement for both sides of the platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Creative, and Growth teams to align on marketing initiatives and ensure a cohesive customer journey.
- Future Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, experimentation, and growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years in marketing, with significant experience in both B2B and B2C environments. Previous experience with consumer brands and two-sided marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Strategic: Strong strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute a comprehensive marketing vision that aligns with overall company objectives.
- SEO Proficiency: Proven track record in SEO with a strong understanding of best practices, tools, and techniques to drive organic growth.
- Omni-Channel Knowledge: Extensive experience with digital marketing channels, social media, content creation, and performance marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with expertise in leveraging data to drive marketing decisions and optimize performance.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team, with excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-growth, consumer-facing brands
- Expertise in marketing for a two-sided marketplace
- Background in omni-channel strategy, including digital, social, PR, and offline marketing
- Advanced understanding of SEO and related analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz)
