Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Systems Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), coupled with robust experience in networking and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Implementation and Maintenance: Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of warehouse systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- System Integration: Coordinate and manage the integration of WMS/WCS with other business systems and platforms.
- Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure required to support warehouse operations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and logistics, to align warehouse systems with business goals.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and solutions.
- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to warehouse staff on the use and functionality of the systems.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all warehouse systems comply with industry standards and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in networking and infrastructure management; familiarity with various network protocols and hardware.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Worked in pharma/manufacturing plant is added advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- Manufacturing Experience - with It-Infra knowledge
- Cross Team/Dept Coordination
- Project experience
- ITIL Knowledge would be preferable
- Knowledge of GxP would be add on
