Our client, a global leader in media & entertainment is actively looking for a HR Generalist to join their team in Los Angeles, CA!
***This role is onsite. Candidates must be commutable to Universal City, California***
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study
- 3-5+ Years of experience in HR Related position
- Project Management Experience
- MUST HAVE: Strong California - LOA, FMLA, ADA experience (and recent CA Law experience)
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end employee lifecycle support
- Recruitment and Onboarding – work with hiring managers, HRM and talent acquisition team to identify and onboard top talent; be the key point of contact before and during first few months to ensure effective onboarding
- Reward and Benefits – work with central reward and benefits team when required for new hires, adjustments and other changes in reward and benefits.
- Training – ensure all new employees fulfil training requirements. Set-up and run ad-hoc training (i.e. HR systems, recruitment, and performance management) as and when required
- Employee Relations - manage more junior employee relations issues directly; provide coaching to supervisors and managers through the process. Partner with Corporate Employment Law team to ensure risk is mitigated.
- Provide onsite HR support as required – serve as main point of contact
