R&D Finance Business Partner
As a member of the finance team you will be responsible for providing the highest caliber of relevant financial and business information for our Engineering teams. We are looking for an energetic individual who thrives on collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, who has excellent communication skills and the ability to organize, analyze and effectively communicate consolidated financial results.
What you will do:
- Own budget / forecast / reporting for our worldwide Engineering, Product and Support teams through detailed analysis of trends and analytics and continuous enhanced modeling to improve forecast accuracy
- Reconcile Cloud costs and work with R&D teams on opportunities for efficiencies and savings
- Assess ROI on R&D initiatives, including cloud savings
- Manage headcount, expenses and purchases for the teams
- Work with Accounting teams on month end close deliverables
- Support ad-hoc projects, scenarios and analysis as needed
Your experience should include:
- FP&A experience with a global high technology company, supporting R&D teams
- Experience with cloud cost management (reconciling and forecasting Cloud costs and analyzing/purchasing Cloud savings plans)
- Excellence in consolidation of large data and building financial models
- Consistent track record of solid business judgment and decision-making with ability to plan effectively and execute timely to deadlines
- Detailed orientated with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness
- Proven track record of building partnerships to meet objectives
- Experience working with Workday and Adaptive Planning is a plus
