Responsibilities:
- Record sales for assigned operated and non-operated properties
- Prepare monthly revenue accruals - oil, gas, and plant products
- Review revenue volumes, price, and values per field assignments
- Review prior period adjustments and research monthly/quarterly variances
- Respond to owner inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide severance tax & royalty calculations used in preparation of state and federal reports
- File state and federal royalty and tax reports
- Record various journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly revenue batches for operated and non-operated wells
- Prepare monthly severance tax reports
- Prepare and maintain monthly gas balancing allocations and statements
- Help prepare monthly schedules/analysis, month end reconciliations and roll forwards
- Review, analyze and ensure transactions comply with regulatory requirements
- Gather information and prepare reports for management
- Identify potential problems and works with supervisor to resolve
- Work with royalty owners and purchasers to resolve miscellaneous revenue issues
- Assist in revenue suspense and payable balance research
- Process land authorizations and deck changes
- Other assigned duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed
