Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist - Research with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality control analytical testing and supporting the development, validation, and execution of analytical assays, including ELISA, Flow Cytometry, PCR, and microbial testing. The role will involve testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished product samples to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing using a variety of techniques, including but not limited to ELISA, Flow Cytometry, PCR, HPLC, and microbiological methods.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Prepare and test samples in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Conduct microbial testing, including but not limited to bioburden, endotoxin, and sterility testing, as required.
- Write and review test reports, ensuring all findings are communicated effectively and clearly.
- Assist in the development, optimization, and validation of new analytical methods for testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field. Master’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in a Quality Control or Research laboratory, with a focus on analytical testing in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech industry.
- Hands-on experience with techniques such as ELISA, Flow Cytometry, PCR, and microbial testing (bioburden, endotoxin, sterility testing) is required.
- Experience in performing testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation (e.g., ELISA, PCR, Flow Cytometry).
