Job Description:
We are looking for self-starting technical minds that live to be challenged and want to take complex projects head-on. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, integration, testing, and support of shipboard radio communications systems. You must be able to evaluate the defined performance metrics for each link in accordance with system requirements. Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering.
- At least eight years of progressive experience in electrical/electronics engineering, which includes at least four years of experience performing engineering functions related to shipboard radio communications systems
- Experience integrating shipboard communications systems supporting voice, video, and data applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper handling and utilization of Government Furnished Information (GFI), including but not limited to Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Running Sheets, Cable Installation/Interconnection Drawings, and Installation Requirements Drawings
- Solid understanding of IP networking and RF theory
- Demonstrated knowledge of military and commercial communications protocols
- Experience with installing equipment in accordance with TEMPEST requirements
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience is a plus
- Solid analytic and problem-solving skills
- Work collaboratively with government customers, contractors, and team members
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
