A client in the Bay Area is looking for a Transportation Demand Management Coordinator to join their team. The Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs that reduce congestion, promote sustainable transportation options, and improve accessibility to alternative modes of travel such as public transit, cycling, walking, carpooling, and telecommuting. The coordinator will work with a variety of stakeholders, local transit agencies, and transportation service vendors, to create strategies that enhance transportation efficiency, reduce reliance on Single Occupancy Vehicles (SOVs), and decrease environmental impacts.
· Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, Transportation Planning, Environmental Science, or related field (master’s preferred).
· 2-3 years of experience in transportation demand management (TDM), urban planning, or a related field.
· Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating clear and engaging presentations.
· Experience with GIS software to analyze, interpret, and visualize spatial transportation data.
· Knowledge of transportation planning, sustainable transportation modes, and traffic demand management strategies.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Excellent communication and public speaking skills to interact with stakeholders and the public.
· Ability to analyze transportation data and prepare clear, detailed reports.
Pay Range for this role is: $38 - $43
