Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.-- REQUIRED
Experience:
- 10+ years in a health and safety role within a manufacturing setting. (REQUIRED)
- Proficiency in using computers for data tracking and analysis.
- Strong skills in preparing and delivering presentations.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and Workers Compensation requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Implement safety policies and procedures company-wide to ensure compliance with health, occupational, and environmental regulations.
- Serve as a resource for technical guidance on safety-related issues.
- Conduct regular safety audits and lead investigations to determine root causes and preventive measures.
- Develop safe operational practices for advanced technologies, including robotics, lasers, and other complex machinery.
- Facilitate training programs covering safety protocols, regulatory compliance, technical skills, and new employee readiness.
- Act as the primary lead on safety initiatives, coordinating with safety teams at each facility.
