Quality Engineer

Currently looking for a skilled individual for a direct hire Quality Engineer opening with a company located in Eden Prairie, MN. Interested candidate should have 3+ years of experience working in Quality, work cross functional with team to identify and resolve issues, and drive continuous improvements.
Quality Engineer Job Description:
• Review design plans, audit processes and test procedures for inspections and testing of PCBs following IPC standards for electronics to ensure manufacturing and assembly meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Support product development and operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout inspection process
• Identify root causes of problems and analyze data to identify trends in product quality and processes; recommend and/or implements corrective measures
• Analyze data to identify trends in product quality and provide action for product modification if necessary
• Assess and qualify new suppliers and monitor performance to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Provide work direction and performance management of quality inspector, quality intern and other quality support staff as needed
Quality Engineer Job Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with IPC standards for IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600
• Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes
Compensation for Quality Engineer:
The starting salary for the Quality Engineer position is $80k-$90k annually.
