Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage various commercial construction projects, specifically in the hospital, medical labs, life science, K-12, and senior living sectors. The Superintendent will ensure that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities across multiple sites, including hospital and medical facilities.
- Manage subcontractors and labor resources to ensure effective project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the construction process.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably in hospital, medical labs, or life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Experience in K-12 and senior living construction projects is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
