The Amada Operations Director is responsible for providing overall leadership of the home care agency operation. The Operations Director leads the care management, human resources, recruiting and scheduling teams, ensures office functions are completed as needed to achieve business goals, and works with the owners and team to hone the strategy and to develop and improve processes.
What You Will Do
- Work with the owners to hone and evolve our strategy
- Lead the care management, human resources, recruiting and scheduling teams
- Work with the owners and team to develop and improve business processes
- Problem-solve and use metrics to drive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor and home care regulations
• Recruit, hire and onboard office personnel
- Direct the care management team to be responsible for client relationships, caregiver management and caregiver retention
- Direct the scheduling team to ensure accuracy and provide managerial guidance
- Direct the recruiting team to grow the caregiver staff to a level supporting business growth objectives
- Communicate with our clients and their families as needed
What We Need From You
- Minimum five years experience in an office management role
- Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in non-medical home care
- True passion and interest for understanding the lives of caregivers and the needs of clients and their families
- Insipirational leadership skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work in a high stress environment
- Self-motivated, responsible, goal oriented, accountable and adaptable
- Superior organizational skills and attention to details

This is a full-time position in Rancho Bernardo with office hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with on-call.
