Foster Lawson are exclusively partnered with a $2B organisation who are looking to add a Plant Manager to their state-of-the-art aseptic beverage facility.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering on turnaround projects, as well as strong leadership credentials.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage subordinate supervisors to provide effective leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Investigate and report any injuries or accidents, promptly resolving plant-related issues to maintain a safe and productive facility.
- Develop, align, and maintain communications throughout the organization to achieve the business objectives.
- Lead the operational management team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
- Emphasize utilization of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans.
- Ensure all daily production targets are met and that all products meet company and client specifications.
- Identify new areas, technologies, and opportunities in manufacturing operations.
- Control all associated operational costs according to prevailing annual budget forecast.
- Ensure that the plant has proper staffing plans, and that team members have the resources, training, information, and support needed to perform duties effectively and achieve objectives.
- Creates a healthy team culture by including diverse perspectives, giving recognition, and demonstrating transparency and empathy.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing
- 7+ years of aseptic beverage experience
- Experience with Tetra Pak technology preferred
