Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $35/hour
- Location: Pasadena, TX
- Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
- Assignment Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related field, preferred
- Understanding of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and developing repair strategies for industrial equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and workloads
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with spare parts management, inventory control, and vendor coordination
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CMMS software
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal equipment reliability
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisor to prioritize and plan both preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure that all planned work orders are properly scoped, estimated, and assigned with clear job steps, resources, and timelines
- Serve as the primary user and administrator for the CMMS (Dynastar) to manage work orders, equipment history, and maintenance records. Ensure accuracy and completeness of CMMS data, including updating equipment records, maintenance logs, and parts inventory
- Collaborate with the MRO Coordinator to ensure availability of required parts and materials for scheduled maintenance activities
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams in troubleshooting equipment issues and developing effective repair strategies
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor to analyze equipment failures and recommend changes to PM programs or maintenance practices
- Generate and maintain documentation for preventive maintenance, corrective actions, work order completion, and equipment reliability
- Report on key maintenance metrics, including PM compliance, work order backlog, and equipment downtime, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance equipment reliability through better planning and scheduling practices
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) sessions to address recurring equipment failures and propose corrective actions
- Support EHS programs by ensuring that maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations
- Ensure all maintenance work is conducted following safety protocols, and report any potential hazards or safety incidents
