Job Description:
We're looking for a hard working individual to take over payroll processing, including subsequent accounting postings, across all buildings under management. This spans weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, with an increasing number of multi-employee buildings that are organized under the 32BJ Union. The job will also include a variety of other accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting responsibilities, central to running the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with ADP Run and Workforce Now is a big plus
- Familiarity with 32BJ Union payroll requirements is an even bigger plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
