We are looking for an
Electrical Superintendent to take charge of coordinating electrical work on large-scale solar utility projects. The right candidate will have proven expertise in overseeing the electrical components of similar projects and will collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of the electrical scopes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical craft personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the development of detailed CPM schedules for installation activities and assist in creating a schedule of values to facilitate the billing process.
- Coordinate schedules, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary facilities with the project manager and on-site staff.
- Approve materials and equipment for electrical systems, monitoring installation and startup to resolve issues before work begins.
- Prepare and present progress reports to Project Managers and Directors as well as to project Owners in weekly meetings.
- Review and recommend improvements to contract documents as needed.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Electrical Project Engineers, ensuring their growth and success.
- Oversee submittals and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years in Electrical Supervision with a record of managing electrical scopes on large projects exceeding $20 million.
- Willingness to travel nationwide (100% travel requirement).
- In-depth understanding of the National Electric Code, medium voltage systems, and related building, mechanical, and plumbing codes.
- Skilled in handling Electrical subcontracts and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
