Overview:
As an Account Executive (Public Sector), you will be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of federal government prospects and partners across multiple territories and guiding them through the buyer’s process. You’ll be expected to follow up with those who have an existing interest in our SaaS product and find new prospects.
Job Duties:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and accounts
- Supplement pipeline through outbound cold outreach
- Networking and relationship building by attending industry events and conferences
- Manage the full SaaS sales cycle from selecting and identifying leads to closing deals and handing off accounts
- Tailor and curate proposals and product demonstrations
- Negotiate deals and keep records of notes, leads, ops, and sales in our CRM (Hubspot)
- Oversee various client, security, and legal questionnaires
Skills & Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required to be considered for this role
- Minimum 1-year BDR experience in Federal or State, Local, or Educational
- Background with an organization that held Government contracts (SLED and Federal)
- Experience in SaaS sales
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated, eager, and a self-starter
- Track record of consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
- Highly organized and dependable with strong attention to details

Compensation:
$75,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Quarterly Commissions
