SUMMARY: Maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware, networks and security. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the IT Strategy through the completion of assigned Projects
- Maintain, develop & support all Sintavia’s corporate and operations IT infrastructure
- Develop and implement IT standards, procedures & documentation while participating in audits & remediation works
- Enforce security configuration standards across systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and configuration flaws across infrastructure and applications.
- Scope, research, implement & support multiple technologies
- Troubleshooting of complex problem
- Taking corrective action in a timely manner with the assistance of vendors when required
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security best practice though access controls, back-ups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Problem identification, incident management
- Scripting to provide a reliable and scalable automation
- Desktop support as needed
- After hours and weekend work as needed
- Able to Travel to different Site offices
- Assist in other tasks as required by the Director of Information Technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to balance department efficiency and service excellence
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
- Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
